ABOUT US
Founded in 2020, the Environment and Communties Care Front (ECoCaF) is an organization based in Cameroon. ECoCaF was legalized in West Region of Cameroon with the reference number 091/RDA/F35/SAAJP. Today, ECoCaF’s mission is to promote and achieve the national conservation of endangered amphibians, reptiles and their vulnerable habitats.
Looking at the activities of ECoCaF, the organisation has a tracked records of field experience working toward conservation, community development, and protected area management in Cameroon. Using scientific tools, ECoCaF is leading efforts in Cameroon and in the region to conserve a broad number of species with a sound interest on amphibians and reptiles. Today, ECoCaF ensures that the next generation is armed with geographic knowledge and understanding of nature conservation.

Our vision is to provide threatened species with a chance, particularly the less studied and the ones attracting less attention.
Our mission
We at ECoCaF, we strive at providing significant contribution to conserve threatened wildlife in Cameroon and in Central Africa. Working under a collaborative banner, we improve scientific knowledge on threatened wildlife, livelihood of communities and underprivileges and we provide insight to improve the daily lives of communities. Also, ECoCaF contributes to change the approach of the management and utilization of natural resources to one in which the needs of human development in the region are reconciled with biodiversity conservation.
